GOOD TROUBLE JUSTICE TEAM
The Good Trouble Justice Team at First Presbyterian Church brings people together to learn, reflect, and take meaningful action around issues of justice in our community and beyond. Inspired by the words of civil rights leader John Lewis, who encouraged people to make “good trouble” in the pursuit of justice, this group explores how our faith calls us to work for a more just and compassionate world.
We believe that faith is not only something we practice in worship, but something we live out through our relationships, our communities, and our commitment to justice.
The Good Trouble Justice Team gathers regularly for conversation, learning, and action.
Together we:
Some gatherings focus on learning and discussion, while others may involve planning advocacy efforts, attending community events, or supporting justice-related initiatives.
Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a member of First Presbyterian Church to participate.
