Clayton Anderson (Astro Clay®) is “Nebraska’s Astronaut!” Born in Omaha and raised in Ashland, he currently resides in his hometown of Ashland. He retired in 2013 after a stellar 30-year career with NASA.

This event features music on a celestial theme as well as Astronaut Anderson sharing pictures and stories from his time in space.

Now in its 31st season, Cantus is one of the nation’s only full-time vocal ensembles, acclaimed for its warmth, blend, and engaging programming.

Performing without a conductor, the Minneapolis-based group brings equal artistic input from all members, creating deeply collaborative performances spanning the Renaissance to contemporary works.
