About Our Organ – We dedicated our newly refurbished organ on October 13, 2002. The Reuter Organ Company of Lawrence, Kansas, did the reconstruction of the organ Opus 2211, working with Clymer Vidlak Architects to enhance the chancel. The carvings on the console and organ bench were lifted from previous chancel furnishings. The reconstructed instrument features 3,446 pipes, including about 60 percent of the pipework from the previous Aeolian-Skinner organ. The new organ console can be rolled to any location in the upper chancel. To visit the Reuter Organ website click here.
Our organist, Charles Ore, was recently featured in the Lincoln Journal Star. Read it here.
