Sue is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), joining us in 2015 after serving churches and presbyteries (regional church organizations) for more than 20 years. Sue leads us in providing a safe place for people to explore faith, spirituality, meaning and purpose, she has a passion for helping people live a faith that impacts their lives beyond the church, and she walks with people through some of the most joyful and most difficult times of their lives. Finding nature to be an incredibly powerful source of inspiration and connection, you can often find her kayaking, biking, hiking, and camping. Sue also enjoys dog training and is currently training her Welsh Springer Spaniel to be a therapy dog.
Sue holds a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, a Masters of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in Religion and Archaeology, and is a Certified Conflict Mediator, trained through Lombard Mennonite Peace Center.
