First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, Nebraska, is delighted to provide the community a meaningful worship experience for World Communion Sunday, held on October 1, 2017. As we commune together in fellowship, we celebrate peacemaking and unity that transcends cultures, ethnicity, gender, orientation, race, and religion. Services are held at 8:30 a.m. in Great Hall and at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Women of the World, our musical ensemble guests, will provide special music at the 11:00 a.m. service, honoring ideologies and cultural tenets that exist in daily lives all over the world.
All are welcome, regardless of religious background.
“We invite the community to come be our guest at this special worship experience,” said Sue Coller, Pastor at First Presbyterian. “There are so many concerns right now in our country and throughout the world. This worship service will remind us of all that we have in common and the many ways that we can stand together in love.”
Come be our guest at this special worship experience.
